When conventional medicine found no cause for my anxiety/depression and stomach pain and instead recommended anti-depressants, I decided to try acupuncture. I was skeptical at first. However, taking a chance with acupuncture was an excellent decision. I went from a painful physical and anxiety level of 9-10 to a level of 1-2. My stomach pain is gone! Greg Carey, L.Ac. is caring and carefully listens to his patients to evaluate treatment. Overall, Acupuncture with Greg Carey, L.Ac. is an excellent experience. I highly recommend it.

I moved away from East Brunswick two years ago and unfortunately am now too far away to commute back to see Greg Carey, L.Ac. at Old Bridge Acupuncture. He is phenomenal, just a wealth of knowledge on all things and very compassionate. I've been to multiple acupuncturists and Greg has no comparison; he's the best by far. Whatever your ailments; stress, anxiety, insomnia, pain, he's the person to see. If you're on the fence about the benefits of Acupuncture or if you're dissatisfied or disappointed with traditional western medicine and popping pills to treat symptoms rather than addressing the real cause, it's time to give Acupuncture a try and Greg is the best of the best!

"I came in last month with severe hand cramps from texting, neck and lower back muscle stiffness from working out excessively, poor circulation and REALLY Awful Menstrual Symptoms. After only a month of treatment, I have seen a tremendous improvement. The herbal supplement I was put on, has drastically improved my circulation and menstrual issues.
The acupuncture and cupping COMPLETELY alleviates my muscle stiffness. This practice is truly A BLESSING and would recommend this service to all my close friends and family. This is basically a one stop shop for overall health and wellness in my opinion. The Staff are also very friendly and professional. Gregory Carey, L.Ac. shows genuine care in wanting to help resolve the treatable problems of his patients."

Dear Gregory Carey, L.Ac.,
Hope you are well. Just wanted to write and let you know how much I appreciate all the help and relief you have given me with your acupuncture treatments. As you know I have been suffering with leg pain due to a pinched nerve that caused my sciatic nerve severe aggravation.
I decided to take a leap of faith and try acupuncture for the first time before going under a procedure for a steroid shot to the nerve which is not always guaranteed and can be quite dangerous. I am so glad I decide to try acupuncture first and that I was lucky enough to meet you. You took the time to listen and understand where and why I was getting the horrible pain I was dealing with. After only a few sessions with you I am so relieved to say I am pain free and can finally sleep again. After months of taking muscle relaxers and going to physical therapy with no relief, I finally feel like myself and can get back to doing the things I enjoy with NO PAIN.
Again, thank you so much to you and your wonderful staff for everything you have done to help me get back to being myself! I am so blessed to have found you and only wish others who a dealing with similar issues will give acupuncture a try. I can't say enough how much it has helped me.
See you soon,
M. T., Old Bridge NJ
A patient came to us with a very challenging case of stubborn Plaque Psoriasis covering their whole body. They have lived with this difficult skin disease for almost 30 years. Previously, they had treated their stubborn Plaque Psoriasis with Biologic immunosuppresant pharmacologic therapy. However, due to the Covid 19 Pandemic, they stopped all Pharmaceutical drugs that lowered/supressed their Immune system. The patient wanted an all natural approach. Their Psoriasis symptoms included severe Pruritus (itching), day and night, and thick, large, red inflamed and rough skin plaques that covered their scalp, entire back, Torso, Arms and Legs.
We developed a Treatment Plan for them that included Acupuncture treatment once per week and Herbal Medicine based on the deep experience and training of Gregory Carey, L.Ac. Within a week of treatment, their skin already began to clear, their itching began to subside. By two weeks, THE ITCHING STOPPED COMPLETELY. By 3 Months of ONLY ACUPUNCTURE and HERBAL MEDICINE treatment, you can see the results above.
If you have a challenging case of Plaque Psoriasis and would like to treat it successfully, naturally, without drugs, steroids or immunosuppresants, talk to us!
Greg Carey, L.Ac. has helped me tremendously!! I was having pain in my wrist for the last 6 months. I couldn't do my job or drive without pain. After the FIRST SESSION, I had so much relief. After the third session, I felt great and back to doing my job PAIN FREE. Greg has also treated me for Lower Back Pain and Sciatica, and each time, the treatment was successful.
Greg Carey, L.Ac. has helped me in ways that traditional pain management, therapy, and orthopedists could not. Not only is Greg great at what he does, but he is genuinely invested in his patients and really cares about helping them live pain free lives.

I came to Old Bridge Acupuncture seeking relief from debilitating morning sickness and pregnancy related headaches. Greg Carey, L.Ac. took his time and really listened to my history (and my mother's experience with morning sickness) to form a treatment plan. I have been seeing Greg on a weekly basis for 2 months and my quality of life has greatly improved!
One of our patients came to us suffering multiple migraine and tension headaches every single day, despite pharmaceutical treatment for such headaches. He turned his life around with acupuncture.
I decided to try acupuncture as an alternative to many other treatments I've had, and I am very happy I did and that I found Greg Carey, L.Ac. and his practice . He is compassionate, knowledgeable, professional, passionate and possesses great humility.
I have seen great improvements and relief with back pain and will continue treatment to better my condition.
I highly recommended this office !

Case Study: A man in his 50’s had a history of hiking in the Pennsylvania and New Jersey forests and recent exposure to ticks. He began experiencing wandering, aching pain affecting his legs and arms. He also had “brain fog” and fatigue. Initial Lyme Disease bloodwork and Physician evaluation was inconclusive.
Old Bridge Acupuncture assessed that this patient may have been exposed to ticks and Lyme Disease. Acupuncture was prescribed Twice per week for 8 weeks followed by Once per Week for 8 weeks. At the same time, Herbal Medicine was prescribed, to be taken orally once or twice per day.
Result: The patient achieved resolution of wandering pains in arms and legs with improved energy and mental clarity.
